MISSGUIDED WISH LIST

So recently I have been browsing through the Missguided website and have fallen in love with a number of different items! I'm a little low on funds right now (being a student is expensive) but once I have enough to buy a few things I'm thinking of ordering at least one of these items!

(If you didn't already know I'm a huge fan of the colour black!)

Black side bag - Perfect for day and night time wear

Black biker heeled boots - Grunge is still very 'in' right now and these shoes are perfect for it!

Plunge jumpsuit - MissGuided is famous for their plunge and daring pieces of clothing, however I feel this is too much and would not suit me at all but this jumpsuit isn't as deep as some of the other items! It looks like it would fit well and I'm so tempted to order it and try it out!

Asymmetric skirt - I have seen a few bloggers with this style skirt and I think its awesome! I'm not a fan of skirts but this one is relatively cheap and looks lovely on the model in the pictures!

Disco leggings - I have a pair of disco pants already but they broke and I'm looking for another pair... These are also leggings rather than pants so I feel they would be more comfortable.

Fur Gilet - It's black, it's furry and it looks so cosy... all the things I love!

LIEBSTER AWARD!

The other day I got a nomination from The Golden Girl for the Liebster award. I was super excited to see that this has happened to me! But basically this is an award to help promote new/starting bloggers. The word Liebster is German and it has a few different meanings such as dearest, lovely and valued.

Questions from The Golden Girl

1. If you won $50 million in the lottery what would you do with it?
I would save most of it! I would also pay off my student loan and pay back my parents for all the money they have spent on me to go to university! Oh and I may treat myself to some YSL makeup!

2. If you had to work for a fashion house which would it be?
Chanel as its so chic and elegant!

3. Who are your inspirations?
Well fashion and a beauty wise... I have many different inspirations when it comes to fashion, it depends on the day. But I love She Wears Fashion, Fearne Cotton and the Olsen twins! For beauty I love both +Tanya Burr and +Zoella, especially their YouTube channels.

4. Favourite memory from 2013?
Probably the summer of 2013, it was amazing! Went to exit festival in Serbia and got to be reunited with all my friends out there!

5. What's your favourite food?
Hmm... tough question. It has to be a cheese and onion Cornish pasty!

6. Celebrity crush?
Evan Peters

7. Biggest fear?
My biggest fear are spiders, the most uncommon fear there is!

8. Favourite perfume?
I have two Viva La Juicy by Juicy Coutour and Deep Night by Ghost.

NAKED 2 PALETTE REVIEW + SMOKEY EYE HOW TO

So out of my Christmas money I thought I would treat myself to the Naked 2 palette. I thought that the colours in this specific one would suit my skin colour much more than the other two and I also have a thing for wearing dark-ish eyeshadow everyday.

Review
I love every single one of the shades and they all glide on very easily and (with a makeup setter) stay on pretty much all day/night!
In this palette, my favourite shades are Tease, Snakebite, Bootycall, and Blackout! The Blackout shade is very pigmented and only a small amount is needed to achieve a perfect smokey eye! This also means it will last a long time meaning it's worth the 38 pound I spent!
So after using this palette for a few times, and even having someone compliment me on my makeup one evening, I highly recommend this palette and if you are even considering investing I say stop what you're doing and go buy it!

Basic/everyday smokey eye tutorial
To achieve a simple smokey eye look that I use on a daily base with this palette, first apply a layer of the shade Tease to your whole lid. The next step is to gradually add the Busted shade to the outer lid and crease line, this will give a good base for the darker colours to be applied to! Next use Snakebite and apply it to the area you just applied the previous shade to. Depending on how dark you like the whole look to be you can either apply Blackout to this area as well (ever so lightly) or continue to the next step. To finish off you can apply winged eyeliner to the lash line and the shade Bootycall to your brow bone for a bit of highlighting.

Some Of My Winter Essentials

As the weather gets even worse and the desire to go outside gets less and less I thought I would share with you a few of my winter must haves!

A glove set - These are essential in the colder months! I got these pair for Christmas and they are from Topshop. They are quite neutral colours so they go with basically all colours. They have a string attached to you can put them through your coat like everyone used to have when they were younger! Don't want to go losing your gloves now do you! Unfortunately they no longer have these on the website anymore but I have seen a few about in some stores... they might of even gone into the sales!

Maybelline baby lips - I also got this for Christmas from my flatmate and I am in love with it! Its perfect for dry lips but I feel that if you're looking for something to heal your lips I wouldn't go for this product as I feel its only useful for hydrating the lips. I have it in the colour Pink Rose and it leaves your lips looking a bit pinky-er than usual! If you're looking for something to heal and really hydrate your lips then I would go for a pot of Vaseline in the Cocoa Butter scent!

Benefit triple performing facial emulsion -  I use this every day at least once usually before I put my makeup on or when I get out of the bath! Its the best moisturiser I have had so far! It's easy to apply and is not really oily like some of the moisturisers that I've had in the past. Would totally recommend it!

A hat! - It is way too cold to go out without a hat on these days! I love this one from Peacocks as you can even wear it when your hair is up and it also doesn't give you hat hair... no one wants hat hair!

What I got for Christmas PART 2

I know Christmas has been and gone but I thought I would do the part 2 to my 'What I got for Christmas' post. The main thing that I was lucky enough to get this year was money to spend in the boxing day sales! Although this year I thought the sales sucked! I only bought one or two things that were in the sales! Very disappointing...
Anyway heres an outfit that I have created which I am in love with!

I have worn it a few times since boxing day already! As you probably know tartan is very in right now and when I saw this top from Dorothy Perkins I fell in love! I thought it would like nice with jeans, leggings, or... anything really! I've worn it on this occasion with a pair of high waisted jeans that I got from Primark. I brought a pair of these types of jeans a while ago from Topshop and I loved them, but they only lasted 2 months before they broke so I wasn't impressed! This time I decided to go for the cheaper version and for only 10 pounds so far there is nothing to complain about! To complete the look I added a necklace that I got for Christmas from Next and some basic black shoes, which I got a while back from New Look!

P.S
Sorry for the bad lighting and quality on some of the pictures, I know they show things to be different colours but yeah.. sorry guys!

LUSH Space Girl bath bomb review!

So after Christmas was over and done with I went up to London for the day to do some shopping. I really wanted to go to a lush shop and try one of their famous bath bombs as I thought they looked so good after seeing one on +Zoellas YouTube.
I picked up this one called Space Girl for just over 2 pounds and I loved it! The smell was so vibrant and the colour was a lovely pinky-purple. As you can see it is also covered in glitter which caused the bath water to glisten in the light! I thought that when I got out I would also be covered in glitter but I wasn't noticeably covered which I liked. I'm pretty sure that if you used this bath bomb and didn't use as much water as I did you probably would come out sparkling. I highly recommend this product! It's also a great present for someone!
